**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Hood SILENT nerf

Question for the moderators.

Was the nerf of The Hoods spec 2 told to the player base? If not is this a glitch?
Please let us know if the spec2 ability reduction was intentional and is here to stay. Hood went from having a 85% ability reduction to the silent nerf of 65%

85% was a visual a bug. Was always coded to be 65%. This has been addressed before

So just carelessness then? Is it that hard to get a number correct?
"Visual bug" -- It's strange how many of those make the champ seem better only to be "corrected" once the champ is no longer sought after.

Kabam said it was a visual bug when he was released

I don't have a hood and didn't want to grind for him because he wasn't worth it to me

But a lot of players don't read forums so it was misleading. I'm not a programmer but wouldn't it have been just as simple to fix a text box as to post something about it being a visual bug?

Maybe this should be a different discussion but it's along the same lines as in it involves Hood.

If dexterity procs MD every time it renews, should Hood get regen every time hex renews? Instead of when it expires?
  • Why do you think they wanted a flat value system? It means they can change any character at anytime as they see fit. A certain character is doing to well. Lets change the numbers. Noone will notice. Of course it was a glitch when they noticed he was too good.

Not even close to the truth.

The two things works differently, but the word in their description is the same: expire
This was already discussed a lot of times. The team will change the text in order to avoid this confusion

Why such a long wait for such minor changes though? Is it really that hard to change a bit of text? (Honest question, not being sarcastic).

To me though, unless the hex is stacking, it's "expiring" the old and starting a new one. It would have to read "each critical hit renews an active hex" or something along that line.
  • Why would they manipulate the player base? That makes no sense. Yes it was a visual bug.

They manipulate the player base any time they can. And what is a visual bug? It was a careless error that gave misinformation as to the effectiveness of Hoods abilities. Why wasn't any effort made to let players know about the inaccurate description as soon as it was known? Kabam used to announce all character changes before they went live in the game. If they went back to doing that, players would be able to determine if a change was made and that it is working as intended.
