**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

What War Rating Place Tier 1 ?

Here is our alliance details if need for any investigation by @Kabam Miike
    @Kabam Vydious

    Thank you in advance

  • It's done by percentages. Tier 1 is the top .1% of Alliances. Having a 3k War Rating may not be enough anymore. It all hinges on how many Alliances with War ratings exist in general. That directly impacts the tier system. I don't know what the cutoff for T1 is, but apparently it's higher than 3,072 as of right now.

This inevitably fluctuates due to the ever changing war ratings. There will never be a stagnant cutoff number for any tier as a result. Honestly, it has been constantly inflating. Back in Season 3 our group hit T3 with an 1800 war rating. Here we are in Season 10 with 2300-2400 war rating, and are in T4 just to give some perspective on how this is constantly on the rise.

Platinum 1 rank 7 is not top 1% then I don't know what is. This basically killed our chances to hit master bracket because t2 wars just don't give us enough points :(

Sorry, but you are confused. Season points and ranking in a season is completely independent of War Rating and tier (except for multiplier). Your War Rating determines your tier. Your tier determines your multiplier. Your score, based on points in each war add up and you go onto the leaderboard.

It’s quite simply not enough rating for t1
  • They could've just as easily lost their last war and in turn, fell into T2 due to the loss of war rating points @IceSnow . They've probably maintained T1 for a bit now, hence their score. Looks like you're on the cusp, dancing close to T1, but still in T2. As previously mentioned, it's the top 0.01% pertaining to war rating.

To figure out how many slots in T1 are available, you'd need to know how many Alliances there are. Go check out the Alliance Leaderboard in regards to War Rating. There's Alliances with higher war ratings that are in lower reward tiers. Some clearly are inactive this Season. Others probably aren't giving it their all. Just the same, they're in T1 because of the war rating.

As of right now the highest War Rating is 3,497, held by MNG. Yet, they're lower in the points standings than your Alliance is. Same with MMXIV. Higher war rating, lower in the point standings. Proves the multiplier only does so much. Gotta win a LOT with T1 multiplier to get into Master. So, unfortunately your war rating isn't high enough due too the very limited number of slots T1 has.

You may have matched a tier 2 alliance. War points multiplier can be decided by RNG when 2 different tier alliances are matched.

This is correct. Seasons are a competition of Points. From beginning to end, your Rank is determined by the Points you accumulate. It's kind of like an Arena Leaderboard.
Your Tier is determined by your War Rating, and that entirely depends on who else has what War Rating. You earn so many War Rating Points, you go up in Tiers. Your Tier determines your Multiplier, and that determines how many Points you earn. Bit confusing, but it's two independent systems that feed into each other.

Also, it's possible to win the War and go down in Tiers. Happened to us this Season. Still thinking of the cause. Perhaps others finishing with more Points than us. Definitely wasn't a docking of any kind.

Since when? The map is RNG yeah but the multiplier is based on your current tier not what map you’re playing.

This is a completely seperate issue to what you’re saying in the original post though. You are in tier 2 simply because you don’t make tier 1 cut off, season points and ranking have no bearing on tier.

You don't need help from Miike or other mods. The threshold has gone up. We are 3073 and tier 2 atm. Probably very close to tier 1 but not tier 1.

Its not all about season points

Obviously war ratings are increasing all the time, at one point 2200 was enough to be tier 1.

Check the leaderboards, there are at least 4 alliances that are no longer active or filled with low level accounts in the top 25 where the OP resides.
This is one of the biggest issues we have with tiers, they include all alliances ever to achieve a rating.
  • IcejrIcejr Posts: 431 ★★★
    Agree bro
Hope @Kabam Miike remove those alliance from leaderboard and calculate rest Active alliances who trying hard for there goal
