    You're not getting what I'm saying. People were using fraudulent Credit Cards to buy Units, buying Items in the game, and selling their own Subscritpion Services within the game for discounted Items, in exchange for real money outside the game. Any exchange for money, whether through Subscription or not, can be abused the same way. That's not a risk they will likely take, given what's happened.

    Simple. People buy more Subscritpions, ad infinitum, with fraudulent Credit Cards. Send Gifts to people, and sell them for real money. Same way they did it before.

    The previous system was limitless. You'd need to open way more accounts with way more fraudulent credit cards to even achieve a tiny bit of the black market people created around the previous system.

    Heck, we're, well, I am talking subscriptions.

    Make it a 3 months gifting badge sub and stretch the amount of available gifting casseroles over those 3 months. Maybe even as part of a gifting calendar.
    You asked how it could be exploited, way to move the goal posts. Also you would not need more fraudulent CCs, just more accounts using the same CCs.

    That's why they disabled it. There was nothing stopping them from opening new Accounts and doing it over and over. Not going to happen TBH.

    Wow this topic really got derailed didn't it?
    To the OP.. No one knows. We were compensated for it, so chances are it's not coming back. If it does come back, it wouldn't be the same as it was and yeah we might have to buy or "subscribe" for it.
