Sunspot's better, but not being able to incinerate the opponents means he can't get his charges. Human Torch could apply Nova Flames and win.

@JohnHS the amount of incinerate immunes right now are low. Isn’t it just iceman, void, and havok?

Sunspot can literally control heat. Human Torch is a basically a big ball of heat. Seems pretty obvious to me

Sunspot can't control heat. He can absorb and project it (By contrast, Pyro would be an example of a mutant who can control fire but not generate it).

I've voted Human Torch; but on reflection I think the win goes to whoever is the Attacker.

Both of these champs are immune to reach others main offensive ability; Incinerate.

I'd expect Human Torch to win easily if he's the Attacker; as you'd just use his pre-fight ability to bypass Sunspots Incinerate immunity and he'd be annihilated. Torch also has a Stun on his SP2, which would be handy.

Conversely, Sunspot would probably also win as an attacker; as he'd constantly gain both Power and Solar charges and could fire off multiple Special-1s, build up Flare state and gain a massive damage boost on his SP2.

Either way it's a longer fight than usual; but I'd expect the attacker to win using a bit of strategy.

Rulk is the best to fight incinerating champs imo, only ramps him faster

If he can absorb and project heat, in other words he can CONTROL IT

Even though sunspot has crazy special 2s. Nova flames are super useful and can deal a lot of damage with a bunch.
