What to do with years old gems?

Sooo i have a ton of rank up gems and 3 awakenings. I have been sitting on most of these for years, would you guys just pull the trigger on some champs you like, or wait even longer for the prestige and god tier champs?
Example, R5 Dr Voodoo since he's R4 duped already, or wait for SS because i have a mystic 4-5 gem? Does that make sense? Point is, i am tired of sitting on gems

    If you're not in a top tier alliance that requires you to have prestige or rank up certain champions,just go with what you like. Game's more fun that way.

    Yeah I agree
    Unless you play this very competitively, doing what you want for fun is much more enjoyable
