Domino immunity?

PastorAmericaPastorAmerica Member Posts: 468 ★★★
I am running double suicides and I'm noticing that my Domino is not suffering form the self inflicted bleed. I love it, I just don't understand why. I didn't think she is immune to bleed. Does it have something to do with Lucky? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!

She has a 50% chance to remove bleed after a second and also I think the passive 15% aar might have a chance to stop it aswell

Just to add some clarity, the 50% passive chance to cancel bleed refers to when an opponent places a bleed. Mastery bleed cannot be counted because that’s caused by the effects of mastery, not from the opponent.

Bear in mind, Dom doesn’t have an inherent ability to shrug debuff, unlike AV or KP.

Specific to Dom’s passive description, it says +15% Ability Accuracy (AA), not Ability Accuracy Reduction (AAR)

I can only deduce AA here refers to an increased chance of an ability triggering ie shrugging debuff, increase crit rate etc, considering how the entire description on passive is about her ‘abilities’.

In contrast, AAR, as far as my knowledge serves me, is about reducing your opponents’ ability, and not increasing your own. As an example, AAR reduces opponent’s armor up ability but it doesn’t mean it increases yours.

And here is where I feel that the devs can do better when using similar terms that are so close to each other without properly explaining what each does. An authoritative definition index about what each phrase actually means will help somehow.

Thanks for the input! I find the descriptions of abilities really hard to follow. It says "opponents bleed abilities tend to have a 50% chance off expiring after 1 second". I did not think this would apply to the liquid courage bleed because it is initiated by me and not the opponent. However, in practice, I'm finding that the bleed is getting removed about half the time. This is great and might force me to move her onto my suicide squad instead of Hyperion.

Did you not even consider reading through her abilities before opening this thread?

This paragraph is false. The description is something like after 0.5 seconds, Domino has a 50% chance to shrug off a bleed applied to her and gain 10% max power.

When I ran suicides to get an arena champ, Domino shrugged off the bleed after 1 tick and gained power.

    The rest looks accurate tho

    Edit: @Lormif
I really don’t see where it says how she can shrug off the bleed from a mastery in that post. Can u elaborate? I really don’t see it

The paragraph is correct. It does say opponents, it is that the functionality works differently.

    The exact wording is:

    (Probability Field Passive)

Opponent's Bleed abilities tend to graze and have a 50% chance to expire after only 1 second(s). Whenever a Bleed expires prematurely, Domino is inspired and gains 10% of her maximum Power instantly.

It does, however, appear to affect all bleed debuffs applied to Domino.
