Hey guys, can you please explain why sometimes you're able to rank up masteries for free? This is how it normally is

I accidentally restarted a quest in the side quest now im down 1 entry. Is there a way for me to get the entry back?
Why is there no cooldown timer visible for incursion champions?
There is a cooldown timer visible for champions that have been used in the arena and no cooldown timer visible for incursions, why is that?
Why does the game out of nowhere gives me impossible matchups to beat in arena?
I'm on a 28 win streak but they would give me a similar team rating to mine, even though it was on hard mode i was still able to beat it but on the 29th match, this happens. Can someone please explain why this is?
