**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

Definitely Magik. SW needs to be awake and at a decent sig level.

GP would be great. When I cleared Maestro I used SW and her nullify took care of it. Or if you struggle with evading his L1, use a Dormammu and you'll keep his power under a bar and you can hit an L1 for nullify when the arc comes up.

Slightly better odds to get her by waiting until the additions in February. Plus blade and mephisto should be added to the basic crystal if they continue with six champs added per month. Sentry won't hit the basic crystal in February, and the sub featured pool is a low chance.

When he was released they decided to give him just one immunity because they felt more than that would make him too powerful. So it was a game balance decision. Dormammu should be incinerate immune, and Ice Man should be coldsnap immune, but those won't be happening either. Red Hulk has a better chance of getting…

I'll vote for Stark Spidey. Ultranationalist would be Steve Bannon. He'll be in a Fire and Fury crystal coming soon.
-
I'd go with NC. Cable is ok, but NC is more fun to use and he's good for defense.

Turn off suicides. Use someone who can shrug debuffs quickly. Or use a power lock champ and time your combo to hit 10-20-30 etc. when a debuff shows up. Also it helps if the other champs on your team are not knocked out, so it delays the debuffs. Still may require some potions, but it's not terrible, and he's the only…

I agree they don't spell out what happens if the enemy fills the next bar before using a special. And the fact that they can't use L2 if they didn't get off an L1 suggests they shouldn't be able to use L3. But that would be too easy. This is how the node works and it's just that the description is unclear.

There is always going to be a main bottleneck somewhere. It used to be t4cc, then t2a. T5b is next. The secondary bottleneck of t1a feels odd because it is an older resource. Even t3cc are a pain because you can only hold six and you need three to rankup a 5* to r2. Can't even buy those for glory, just the weekly quest for…

MD has been like this for a while now. I doubt whether they would change it, and if they did then everyone who invested in MD and mystic defenders will want compensation and rank down tickets. There are some counters with power control champs.

Some good unduped 5* available in the basic crystal now are Ice Man, X23, GP, CB, YJ, Magik, GR, Hyperion, Angela, and Ultron. Voodoo is decent unduped but a lot stronger when duped. Some that would be good only when duped are AA, Hulk, and SL.

I think the game team is aware of the issues with Carnage. He starts the fight very weak both offensively and defensively, and he takes a very long time to build up strength. Cosmics tend to rely on fury buffs, but they get strong faster and can withstand damage better along the way than he does. The power gain from his…

Gotta check the nodes. Use a randomizer if it's an impossible combination. There can be some easy combinations too, like a Tyranny node where the enemy isn't a villain.

This won't happen. But if it did, I would like to get the Voodoo-GR mashup. He looked cool and he basically plays as a bleed immune Voodoo.

Work on earning 4* shards through events and quests. Premium hero crystals have a very low chance of dropping a 4* champ.
-
It got converted into gold, which is probably more useful anyway. I let about 500k expire and turn into gold.

If you're on a mobile device, I think you need to have your browser request the desktop version of the site. Then go into your profile from the link at the top of the screen.

If he's too hard right now, just come back when your champs are ranked up further. At this level in the game, you need to keep questing and getting rankup materials. Also, do you have parry and dexterity in your masteries? Those two masteries are most important for gameplay.
-
Gonna take forever to pull a desirable 6* and then dupe them. I'll rankup 5* and then worry about 6* later.
-
A 4/55 Ant Man at high sig level with a Doc Ock synergy might be unpleasant too. Or you could place him on tile 42. Although someone would have to take one for the team by using t2a on Ant Man.

Voodoo is good to use there too, if the defender isn't poison immune. Hyperion and GG have been tough on there. Blade was a challenge too.

Excellent news. And I would suggest refunding some valor to anyone who bought golden crystals with valor before this announcement. Golden crystals are offered at prices that start at 20k valor, and they typically give out 2,400 gold. No one would have bought any golden crystals if they'd known 20k leftover valor converts…

I agree. Awaken Blade. Wolvy still gets a decent regen without being awakened, and Blade will be useful in more ways.
-
5* gems are still rare. I just got a mutant one myself. My only mutants are Magneto and Storm. I'll wait and see about AA/Ice/X23. Don't use it on a Cyclops.
-
Voodoo is good for tile 24, as long as the enemy isn't poison immune. Stack the spirit venom. You can even use despair mastery if necessary. Hyperion and Mephisto are among the toughest defenders there. Maybe Dorm too.
-
Carnage should be improved. He should be more in line with Hyperion and Medusa for dealing damage and building up quicker than he does now. No one has mentioned OML yet, but he is underpowered too.
-
Odds of specifically pulling him will be low. I think there will be 78 champs in the 5* basic pool in January. You could save shards for a shot at Blade as a featured later. Otherwise maybe just open basics.

ROL rewards have never changed because the difficulty decreased over time as new champs and abilities got introduced. The current rewards were a big deal a couple years ago when the difficulty was high. Eventually the same will happen with LOL, as enrage timers will run longer once people can max rank a 5*.
