It's a daily crystal that dissappears after 24 hours. If you didn't claim it, you don't get new objectives. It not mention anywhere exactly how it works but it does say daily objective…2 -

I only need 16K T4 alphas to get 3 T4 aphas, so I'm going after 2 of the rank 4-5 gems plus the 12 bundle with small amount of T4 alpha fragments for 20K each. This works out better for me.1 -

If you don't spend the max you can get is 900k in poolies so the total is 2 times the 4-5 gems (325k each) plus others smaler offers. I wish you could get 4.0
