How come in the 90s animated series (which took things directly from the comics) Xavier was able to mind control Magneto while his helmet is still on?2 -

I can see him having resistance to bleed or some DOT's, maybe like tenacity since one of his things is that he fights while bleeding or very badly injured and still persists3 -

Anybody who does double attacks, also Corvus in variant 4 destroyed me every time, so much so that I took a different path, even though the path with Corvus was easier than the path I took.4
