No. A new champ is added to the regular 5* crystal every two weeks. Gulk was added on the 22nd so killmonger will be added on June 5th, then sentinel, bishop, sabertooth, and then proxima, corvus, IW…1 -

Symbiote spidey is a solid champ, hits pretty hard. Nebula is good, mordo is decent if you know how to use him well. Hulk is okay but a lot better awakened, wouldn't bother with juggs, colossus …1 -

They're still not useless though. You can beat uncollected Thanos with 4* champs. Even top alliances still use 4* champs in their aw defense.2
