I used them both on different paths in my Exploration of Abyss. Soorcerer Supreme is great against Champion, she even can one shot him, but in all other match ups is Symbiote superior to her.1 -

He can be played even unduped on some basic level but if you want to master him and get everything from him he definitelly needs to be duped and as high sig as possible.1 -

Yes it is the same but if you open the 10k ones you open less of them and then RNG can give you much more or less than average.1
