This is a dumb mechanic. All it does is prevent you from launching a counter attack when a champion hits you with a ranged attack.0 -

This game breed a lot of "I got mine, so I'm not doing more unless I'm rewarded" behavior. So you don't get mad when someone quits on you when you only need a few rooms?0
