You should mainly focus on 4* and up but if your stuck at a point in the game and your choices are like a 4* spidergwen or 3* Blade I'd go with the 3 since it would be more beneficial1 -

Yea give him a special l3 like rocket, so it doesn't matter who your playing if you trigger l3 he will go invisible or something1
