If he isn't awoken yet you could try to do that. Either by pulling the same champ again in a crystal or by using an awakening gem. Once he's awoken you can increase his signature level by p…1 -

It's probably fine. Took me well over a year to get a maxed 4* champ. 100% A4 with only 4/40s and no 5* champs.1
