  The game has progressed from needing specific champs for content as there’s are a lot of great options available. So I don’t think there are any essential ones per say.

  1. yelena’s abilities reduce block damage if you don’t have daunted debuff or passive on her 2. cap Britain has safeguard in her kit maybe that’s what prevents hulkling doing more damage
