There is nothing sketchy about this at all, unless you consider it sketchy to introduce a mechanic that in some ways encourages more gambling.6 -

I ran all my daily quests (apothecary, gold, etc) using those champions. Just put my 6* Herc on auto fight and let him do them while I was doing other things.1 -
