You can try taking peni with herc tho. That's what I am doing. Taking her shield down, Infuriate her, then intercept and play normal for while until you need to repeat.1 -

So it's not a skill, it's AI's willingness to play now. The AI have started standing still and if you dash at him he would counter with light attack. It's gambling now2
