Yes, it was concluded in the Photon/Vox EQ I believe. Reed plants the world seed in the remnants of Battleworld (the MROC setting) so the Galactuses have an infinite source of food.3 -

Ik people are mentioning mystic and energy champions but with nova flames on he melts pretty much anyone so he's super useful in BGs1 -

Deadpool mentions eating it in a quest a few years ago until we tell him that he's not supposed to do that. He does comment on the taste but I don't remember what he said.1
