I really enjoy fighting Unstoppable characters with my Cap IW, but I'm struggling to find out if he can actually bypass passive Unstoppable, I can't this information anywhere.

Night Thrasher had an unstoppable attack this EQ. CAIW couldnt stop that.
Actually there's a few, including everyone in the Trial of Fire quest this month (Brawl node).
Also:
everyone in day 2 of the elemental trials
Which is silly imo. Passive buffs are just a way for Kabam to making older champs less useful imo. Like IMIW’s passive armor. Voodoo can’t touch it.
Yeah but it has ven more and more comone with is a bit unfair. Like cap IW stil good but he lost a bit of me he culd hav ben good for brawl but no. And brawl dont works how it shuld either becasse ther gos uns every 5 sek
Is it possible to make cap iw cancel all typed of unstoppable buffs?
He already does that. He just isn't meant to counter unstoppable abilities that aren't buffs
The thing is that there are two separate mechanics at issue: buffs vs debuffs, and passive effects vs active effects.
Buffs cause a beneficial or neutral effect to the champion affected by them.
Debuffs cause a negative effect to the champion affected by them.
Active effects (buffs or debuffs) are subject to outside interference (nullify, stagger, debuff shrugging, Willpower)
Passive effects are not subject to outside interference; so can't be shrugged or their duration/potency reduced.
So neither Cap nor anyone else is going to be given the ability to counter passive Unstoppable effects; because the whole point of passive effects is that passive effects aren't subject to external modification.
