In-game messaging

I know Kabam is trying to respect the privacy of everyone, but once someone joins your alliance, can you make it that you can begin private messaging that person once they've joined?

Currently you have to add them as a friend before you can and let's face it, not everyone reads alliance chat or reads their off game chats on other apps.

They're now in your alliance, it should be made where at least officers can contact a new recruit without having to add them as a friend first.

  • Great point @Chump , you should be able to BEGIN a Friend Chat automatically by a CHAT option in pop-up list when clicking on an alliance member (INSTEAD of FRIEND REQUEST).
It would just bypass the extra steps of Request, Accept, and then Chat, but just for those in alliance.

I would have suggested that everyone in alliance is automatically added as friends when they join, but then what happens when they (or you) leave alliance, either they automatically get removed from Friends List (not good, if you want to keep in touch with some of them), or they all remain as Friends and then you have to manually remove them (requires too much work on our part to remove them all manually).
  • Hey there, thanks for the feedback here; we'll pass it along to the rest of the team.

Maybe there could be an alliance email added to the alliance where members can just mail one another rather than chat. It doesn’t have to be a global email just within the alliance.
