Isn’t mephisto supposed to be immune to incinerate?

@GarryDK Mephisto isnt incinerate immune in the traditional sense. He can still gain the incinerate debuff, but instead of taking the incinerate damage, he generates power.

Yeah I know that’s how he normally works but human torch was applying damage to him.

Those are probably nova flame passives then. Nova flame passives only count as incinerate debuffs where activating human torch abilities are concerned. To everyone else, Nova flames are NOT incinerate debuffs, so mephisto wont stop those from damaging him.

@Championcritic is correct, Mephisto can still have Incinerates placed on him, he would just gain Power instead of taking Incinerate Energy damage. They are also correct about the Nove Flames; they are Passive Effects that deal Energy damage, but they aren't Incinerates themselves, Human Torch just treats the Nova Flames he places as Incinerates for the purposes of his abilities that interact with them.
