Why are Kabam's special events getting worse?

October's side event was garbage in my opinion and November's don't look good either. Like, November is supposed to be the big month the ending of the Fantastic Four arc in the game. I'm finding that I have to grind more to earn less. What is Kabam thinking?

The rewards seem to continuously be stuck for where they should be a year ago, I'm not saying just boost rewards as atleast some form of effort has been taken by adding units and 5* sig stones as per community request, but lately I might as well spend more time in arena and get better resources from there - instead of completing the side quests.
Personally, it feels the meta is slowly shifting towards "here is what you've always had, now we are going to make you work harder and/or pay for it and place it behind a wall".
This to me is evidenced by:
- The Sigil contained many features the entire community had been begging for which now has a price (understandable because you need another revenue stream but would've been nice to have one or two of the benefits released to everyone)
- This November's EQ - Dungeons Days which we've already had multiple times seems to now be a reward to 'achieve' with the community, at a low cost of 250 million fights (possibly 500m since Item Exchange is the first milestone?) The other things are nice and yes, but for all the hype and excitement promoting the event it just seems like "well here ya go again" and repackaging previous events constantly - hence leading to major disappointment when the community is expecting new things - and if not new than atleast better.
I appreciate that admins are slowly taking more time to listen to our feedback, I believe more dialogue such as this will pave the way for better suited events to the community
1) energy cost is too high for for the monthly event quests and side events. When a single path chapter 3 section 2 of the monthly EQ takes more than or close to 70 energy, that is too much. Add that to the cost to do the daily side quests plus any other events that you may want to work makes it impossible to do so without spending a lot on refills. The energy refill even at 5 minutes is too slow to allow us to finish all of the monthly content and live our lives.
2) The rewards don’t fit the effort and cost. If I put a value to time spent in the game vs the rewards given to progress in the game over the last year, we are in a negative curve. Overall it is taking longer and longer to gain the needed materials and champions to attempt the harder content.
3) The Community event. Sigh, where to start. So very bad, as the rewards don’t even affect a majority of the community. You do realize, not everyone does arena, or dungeons, or AQ. And that is what you (kabam) chose to give as a reward. But I will tell you one thing that everyone in the community will use, energy refills, gold, resources. As much as I am against gated content, gate it behind a 0 energy event that gets unlocked at the 250m and beyond marks.
We all want to support this game and community. But I know from my own feeling over the last year, my patience is running thin.
