General AQ prestige question

Now I understand the beginning prestige on day 1 of AQ is based on the average of each members top 5 champions and the prestige rises or falls based on map clears.
My question is if you have a bad AQ week and lose prestige points each day, does that affect the next AQ week or does it reset to where you were as an alliance before not clearing the maps?
