Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Kabam Jax

Hello Everyone!

My name is Jax and I am the newest community manager with Marvel Contest of Champions! I am unbelievably excited to be here and to be a part of the team. I’m a lifelong gamer, a passionate content creator and a huge advocate for positive, inclusive communities.

Internally, the team working on MCoC has sung the praises of this community. They’ve told me, and from what I’ve seen already, you are a passionate and vocal group! My goals are simple: to have a positive impact on this community while nurturing communication and (where possible) transparency between the team working on MCoC and the fans playing it! For all of you, that means keeping passion and excitement high while ensuring that energy manifests in a positive way.

Can you ask around the atmosphere in your place of work if “Hashtags for Immunities” for champions to be added in game.. I’d like to know what characters are immune to such via search/filtering.. thanks take it easy kid.

Welcome. A good word of advice to be able to better serve us is to actually play this game and understand what we as a community look for and have issues with. It’s hard to see that the other moderators have that under their belt. I believe that’s what most of them are missing.

It feels like the Mod's here don't actually play the game. Honestly the bug reporting feels like it's a joke and has reached the point where many do not even bother reporting them anymore.

There's only so many times someone can fill out exactly the same bug report over and over (ex:Lag threads).

@Kabam Jax as my fellow summoner has already stated above...PLAY THE GAME!!! You NEED to build a feel for the game in order to feel our pain as a community. Not playing this game and providing feedback is a total (Doom) slap to the face and a true demonstration of disservice. Bottom line...practice what you preach.

As others mentioned, I hope your get a great feel for the game and the community to really see all sides of issues and debates in the community and use those experiences to help mend the problems affecting the game. Also I don't know which department you'll have contact with but if you have a few minutes, see if you can ask @Kabam John to give a much needed buff to Moon Knight. 🤞😜

A community manager has many duties, and while we strive to keep Conversations and written communication to a maximum, it is not our only role. I'm not saying don't expect communication, but please don't put undue expectations on the role.

For many games, Community Managers don't ever post in Forums/Reddit. I don't like doing things that way, but there are lots of things that a CM can and will do.
