First off: credit to Kabam for fixing the 'Iron Man autoblocking whilst stunned' bug; and at least acknowledging the 'stupid annoying crashing sound when you fight him' bug.
But given the tremendous levels of discussion about IMIW as a defender, why the total silence? Why has not a single moderator responsed to a single question about just how overpowered he is, especially on a node that gives Aggression: armour and Explosive Personality; or debuff immunity?
I'm not kidding. There hasn't even been one response in his own Spotlight thread, which is the one place you usually get them!:

Now I know that the Forums are 'for us' rather than being a direct link to Kabam's higher mental functions. Nevertheless, can I/we please ask for Kabam to in some way recognise the frustrations being vented in these very long threads?
It doesn't have to be here. But conspicuously avoiding his own spotlight smacks of a deliberate policy rather than unintentional neglect.

What are your expectations from the Mods? You realize they moderate forums. That by no means makes them experts on champs and nodes. They are middle men at best and will relay information when needed. None of which you listed needs/has to require as response from Mods.
Expectations? A response. Literally just ‘ok, we have read the concerns. We understand that you do not like his abilities and will be taking the feedback to the game team. In addition we will be taking a look at node 38 and how it interacts with iron man infinity war. We make no promises that changes will be made but rest assured there will be a conversation. ‘
This is all we need. Not silence and being ignored. If they are “middle men at best” then they should be middle men, take it to the game team. They are our only mildly credible link to the people who actually make the game. Don’t tell me support, we all know they are sub par to put it lightly.
There is in no way that "response" will satisfy you. You guys just want the game to be a cake walk. They introduce a champ you struggle with and now you want him gone. Figure out a way around it. Theres usually an answer to every champ in this game. He's only been out for a couple weeks.
They don’t moderate the forums, they pick and choose posts to respond to or delete. They censor the forums, they see what they want to see and ignore or get rid of what they don’t like. Citing that there was nothing constructive in there. Just shitting on them is one thing, but i’ve seen very well laid out posts with lots off valid suggestions and questions get insta locked or deleted and the poster getting infracted. Why? Because they are not moderators, they are, exactly as you said, middlemen, yesmen that simply cleanse the forums of the majority of negative things, valid or not.
Moderator would imply impartial controlling of the forums, getting rid of any abuse or spam. Not trying to focus the entirety of what is and isn’t posted in a completely slanted and biased manner. Hell, i once got an infraction stating abuse towards other members was against the rules, when i was asking a question about a newly released champ way back when, think it was about a Modok bug.
Thanks for telling me what I would or wouldn’t want the moderators to say. I’m sure you know my mind better than me. That would satisfy me just because I know that kabam won’t be like oh people don’t like him let’s change him straight away. The most we can expect from them is saying they have at least seen it and are passing on feedback and they don’t even care that much to say anything. I have a way around it, he’s called 5* Corvus Glaive. I still think it’s just a BS mechanic designed to make us use revives.
Actually, that response would satisfy me perfectly. I agree totally with @BitterSteel. Personally I don't actually care about node 38 itself, as I'm not in an Alliance; although I suspect I'll find it irritating if they put him on the same node for a Boss Rush. It really is the deliberate lack of communication that winds me up. Nearly 10,000 customers have reviewed an article about his design and there have been over 300 posts. It's insulting not to acknowledge it; even if the answer is "IMIW is working as intended. We have no plans to alter his character design at this time."
Middle-men? Miike has claimed otherwise in the past, and stated they're part of the design team.
In event quests, I've not found this champion a problem myself. I don't have Corvus or Proxima; but I've taken him down with each of Black Widow, Crossbones and Falcon; just to check they all work. They work fine against the version in the event quests; but won't be as effective in dealing with the Aggression: Armour node; which gives him endless resources to (ab)use his extraordinary ability set.
Given the efforts that the design team have gone to, to differentiate his armour from everyone else's, it seems strange that his Autoblock, power gain and immunities don't only depend on his Molecular armour; and can also be gained from exogenous Armour Ups. Don't you think?
I use CG as well but in order for him to work, you need to take down a different tech champ before getting to him. So your AW path relies on having a different tech champ on it.
You've been on the forum's enough for me to formulate that simple answers like that don't make you happy. I've seen it over and over with you. You also know they track game data on champs closely, so you know they are looking at whats happening with him. They may not say it out loud but I can promise they are paying attention.
Of course they want people to buy revives. This isn't the first time they have done that or the last. I doubt also they made him the way they did with node 38 in mind.
Nope, you just need the Proxima synergy for him to work. He will work better if you have taken down an Avenger, Tech or mutant champ and knocked him down but he will work regardless.
You’re right, that answer doesn’t make me happy. The answer in the thread that it has been passed onto the team doesn’t make me happy. But it satisfies me. There is an inherent difference. What would make me happy is if they said “ok yeah we completely understand it’s a bad mechanic that doesn’t often benefit the player because you are over 15%for the majority of fights so in future we won’t do anymore autoblock champs. We will also alter his interaction with node 38.” That would make me happy because they would have taken the feedback on board and acted on it, something that we rarely see.
But I’m not an idiot, like you said I’ve been on the forum long enough to know that doesn’t happen. So I am satisfied that at the very least, we have not just been ignored and there is confirmation our feedback is being passed on.
If you read my post in the spotlight you’ll see that I said I accept they need to make money, so offer deals. An awakening 5* gem for $50 would be snapped up by so many people, it’s not even game breaking, literally one awakened 5* would not give people a huge advantage. But when they purposely make champions specifically designed to counter almost all top Aw attackers and to bypass their skill by using autoblock parry, that’s when it annoys me and comes across shady.
Please remember, the purpose of the forums are not only for you to interact with Us, or the Game Team. It's a place for you to discuss the game with other Summoners, as well as ask each other questions and get opinions from others.
You will not get a response from a Moderator or a team member to every thread, especially in places like opinion threads like "This Character is OP" or "This Node is Hard", where it is more or less a place for Summoners to express their opinions and discuss with each other.
It is also not realistic to expect a reply to every comment. There might be a growing number of us, but we're still only human and can't get back to every single question or comment in these forums. This is why it's important to remember that there are lots of very experienced and helpful summoners in these Forums that can help you. You don't always need to wait for a response from a Moderator.
