Is red hulk a good option for my first rank 4 5 star character?
It takes me a very long time to build up tier 2 alpha,

Firstly, congratulations on getting a 5 Star Red Hulk!
If I were to share personal experience, I'd say yes, he's a good Champ to rank up. A common strategy among players is to be patient when using him, and focus on launching SP1 repeatedly in order to build up the Heat Charges as this allows for devastating damage as they're accumulated.
He'll certainly help in quite a few situations, as long as you pick his battles well. With him also being Poison immune, this gives him an extra edge when the situation calls for it.
