  • See also psylock — uses swords, but that’s not the source of her power. See also Deadpool. Blade is right in line with the drax / psylock / Deadpool precedent of champs that may happen to use swords but whose powers are not reliant on metal. I’m sure there are others.
  • Magneto does NOT magnetize anyone with swords / metal. He magnetizes anyone whose powers come from metal or whose powers are reliant on metal. That is why he doesn’t magnetize drax (who may happen to be using blades but doesn’t need them to have his powers) but he does magnetize gwenpool (who has no powers other than her…
  • Magik, even unduped, is way better choice. At some point you will be able to earn or buy a generic AG or get lucky with mystic AG or just normal dupe. But she is still very good attacker unduped. For example, unduped is JUST AS GOOD as duped for taking down Hyperion bosses in map6 (he heal blocks). She is one of the top…
  • Amazing to me how some people think DV activates his buff before the fight starts. Lol no he doesn’t. Meph should stop all buffs for first 15 seconds including DV healing, just like he stops ice armor.
  • The point is that they didn’t play at all the first time I played thru the story quest, so I had no way of knowing they even existed and experienced the story without them. It’s clearly a bug. If I play thru on heroic instead of uncollected, they appear normally. It’s a bug with uncollected difficulty.
  • I have 105k so far and saving for blade as much as possible. Seems clear choice.
  • I just wanna add my voice to those calling for t1a not to be such an onerous bottleneck. To the scrubs arguing there’s no problem with it, you clearly aren’t endgame. It’s preposterous how much every other resource overflows for lack of t1a. I heard kabam mike say they were going to do something to address it; just not in…
  • Or let me try this: there was a design choice to make the TM heavy very easy to use in normal play, more so than any other character. Much more so than kingpin, etc. it isn’t an unstoppable effect or an evasion; it is more like hood’s invisibility where you take no damage nor flinch. It is INVITINGLY easy to use in your…
  • Maybe — I did mention that. But neither kingpin nor spidergwen have the heavy attack as a core aspect of what makes them work. TM’s heavy should be integrated normally into his attack sequence because of his exploit weakness / concussion mechanics. The heavy is the engine that makes it all work together smoothly. But it is…
  • Edit: meant to say overdrive mode, the one where he hits 100 battery power. Not overcharge.
