Also note in my comment above, if you go one letter down past MATH, it spells MATCH. As in a perfect match. Like pineapple and pizza. You just have to rearrange the letters a little.

My situation is almost identical to yours. I too plan on testing the act 6 waters. If they are nice, I’ll complete it, explore variant, explore act 6 ch 1, and then I guess continue to slog through LoL exploration until we get chapter 2 or variant 2.

5* featured arena Kang/Thanos teams rarely use specials. Mostly they save up for sp3, and then about 40% of the time they just never use the sp3 at all. It’s very obnoxious.

I recommend getting the gem if you can, even if you can’t use it now, you will in the future and it will make a difference. Everything else can be farmed regularly, between arenas, EQ, AQ, and war. Gems only exist in static content, and occasionally…
