Lag on Deadpool Sp2

Does anyone else get consistent lag on any Deadpool character including venompool when they activate their SP2? It basically makes it impossible to evade even though it’s easy to do with no lag since the game freezes right before it hits and comes back to see you taking it to the face. The first couple of times I just put it down to the general game lag on occasion but it happens so consistently it might be something to do with the sword animation.
