I just fought Thor Ragnarok in uncollected EQ, I hit him with an s2 during his power gain and the power gain didn't stop.
It carried on right up to s3, this happened twice in the same fight

    You'll need to get video proof, and then Kabam still won't do anything

    If you hit him with a special carrying him to 20,it won't stop,If it's active and you fire it,and it connects,done

    It was active and I hit him with an s2 that he didn't block so it did connect but power gain didn't stop.

    Power gain stops when the animation for sp2 stops. For example, if you are using Winter Soldier and hit Thor with sp2 at one bar of power and boon active, he will most likely reach sp3 by the time WS finishes shooting all those bullets.

    I think that's the case, it was cables special 2 which is 3 hits.
    The power gain would be stopped by the last hit, the special takes too long to stop him teaching his 3rd special
