Trying to join a new alliance, but whenever i try to accept the invite it says the invitation expired, despite being from literally like 30 seconds earlier. Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong??

AQ focused Alliance for a new player

I would prefer to choose Spiderman as I don’t have him but, if I choose him and don’t get any of the rewards then I would rather pick venom. Am I the only one having major connectivity issues after the coliseum launched?
Sometimes I can get into the game, but then it kicks me out soon after, I checked my internet and it was able to load other things just fine. Is anyone else having connectivity issues with the game? Wanted to see if there was anyone else with this issue.
