GOLD 1 vs. PLAT 1?! FIX YOUR PUNISHMENT SYSTEM FOR CHEATERS!!!!!!

This is the 2nd time this season our gold 1 ally has been matched up with a plat 1 ally because THEY were cheating!!!! Yet we are the ones that are punished. We’ve pushed so hard to get to plat 3 and we finally got there but were back in gold 1 because we lost to a plat 1. We have only lost two wars the whole season and one of them was due to being matched against one of the plat 1 alliances. This is complete BS! FIX YOUR SYSTEM!!!! Any alliance caught cheating should be booted from the entire season and not qualify for rewards at all! I hope you all know how much you piss off 99% of the players!

    Maybe leave war rating alone and only remove season points that way they are still fighting evenly matched alliances but drop down the leaderboards due to losing points. Ther than that I don’t know a fair option.

    in any competition if you cheat you get disqualified this top alliances are send back to easy matches

    I kind of feel with you but let me tell you this ive sadly been in 2 allys demoted. Both times the guy responsible came forward and did the right thing leaving. So then we are left 29 honest players. And you really think we deserve getting booted from the whole season for that?

    I understand that its unfair and i dont know how they can do it different but people should learn that their actions doesnt just affect them but everyone else.

    If you benefit equally from cheating then you should be punished equally.

    @OneManArmy I understand what you're saying, and at least you can agree with some of whats being said. There does need to be a better resolve to punishing alliances so honest alliances aren't punished as well.
    Regardless of how you look at it or how many cheated, it was YOUR alliance. Punishment should be within your alliance only and no other alliances should have to suffer for mistakes within your alliance. Hardly seems fair.

    I think alliances caught cheating should be eliminated from the entire season. ONE reason, among others, being is because while one alliance may have had just one person cheat another alliance probably revolves around everyone piloting and sharing account info (which we know has been a popular thing.) I don't know if there is a way to determine the severity of how many pilot in an alliance so it should just be treated to the extreme as if the alliance is knowingly allowing it. At least until Kabam can distinguish between whats what or simply find a better way to punish with out hurting multiple alliances.

    Thats a very stupid thing to say. Again i understand the frustration and again i dont have bettee solution. But saying we deserved it for choosing a ally just like anyone else is in no way fair

    What he's saying is you benefited from the cheating, that's why the entire alliance gets punished. Personally, I'd reset their war rating to 0 and lock them from AW for the rest of the season.

    Yes and i agree with that somehow. We benefited i guess. Probably not with one dude doing it but whatever. Thing is no matter how you look at it innocent people get punished and that aint right. Saying we deserve to be taken out from the season yes thats stupid. The idea mentioned above about just taking away points and not rating seems like the best option and also ban the person responsible but asking for the entire allys head for just playing like anyone else yes that is a stupid thing to say no way around it. Would u get fired from work if someone else cheated there and find that fair?

    Guilt by association sucks, but you can't really prove 29 others weren't aware.
    How is this workplace environment a fair comparison? Give a scenario to make it more fitting. If me and a fellow employee were working as a team and one of us cheated at "whatever," then I imagine we both would feel the wrath.

    The fix is easy. Dock the entire alliance major points. 2 mil does nothing to these top alliances. Take 5 mill. Suspend the players who were caught 2 full weeks. That's half the AW season and leave their AW rating alone. The last one is key. When they drop the rating it hurts other alliances. Take NYC Guardians. They were busted this season and are all the way back up to 12th overall. So why they don't have a chance to finish top 3 they will still finish top 20. Some will say that the other 29 shouldn't be punished because of what 1 person did but the other 29 benefited from the 1 cheater. An alliance caught cheating should not be able to finish in master. You take 5 mil instead of 3 and they would currently be in plat 3.

    This is a game not the olympics. This is supposed to be a source of entertainment for the player. Playing and losing to cheaters is not fun, I know. Kabam punishing 29 players (assuming 1 person cheated) is terrible logic for a video game. It’s not like we are playing an Esport in a major tournament. 29 players of an alliance deserve to get rewards for their effort, so why would Kabam deny them in a video game that is meant to enjoy?

    The solution should be to disqualify the cheater(s) from playing in aw the rest of the season or just permanently ban cheaters especially for multiple offences. Maybe dock some points for the wars that the cheating happened during and leave the war rating alone.

    Def not fair. No room for error when going for plat 3. Last season we busted out butts won 10/12 tier 4 wars and only missed one boss kill. We placed 4th in gold 1. What’s funny is this season with some turnover we don’t care as much. Only won 2 wars. Only finish if we can and even missed a whole war and we are still gold 1 with min effort.

    Another issue is what about the alliances who where cheated against. Currently nothing for them either. At minimum they should get the pts for the Win.

    Instead of docking points or anything they should make the Ally’s that are caught cheating have to only use 3*’s for the rest of the season. LOL! That would be funny to watch.

    We are fscing an alliance who was docked aswel..

    Sad, but true..docked alliance get easier matchups for lower alliances
