Re: Getting bored of these threads
Mention your war tier and BG rank. I have to know before I comment anything.
celestial players, tell us the keys to hitting celestial
i don't want to hear anyone complain about f2p or spending. this is not about rosters or rankups.
if any celestials read this, please give us any advice.
what do you have to put in to hit celestial?
- do you learn every champ that gets released from top to bottom?
- each meta is different. do you run the final GC meta in the offseason nonstop many hours a day so you know what works and doesn't?
- there are secret tricks to get faster times that most 5 hit combo players don't know, how do you figure them out?
- in season, how many GC matches do you run? 50? 100? 200? do you keep going until you hit your goal?
- can high ranks be actually farmed? ie. if you win 52% of the time, can you play enough rounds to reach your goal?
- do you figure out metas by yourself or is it a group process where the best players get in a group chat and talk about it?
-what works and what doesn't?
thanks!

Viv Vision Tune Up!
Viv vision is a great character with great utility and awesome mechanics, it would be a shame to see her not being utilized as much because she doesnt perform as well as other characters in her class. Theres two issues with Viv Vision;
Each hit that makes contact with the opponent during Viv Visions phasing state, restores one armor up buff while below 16.
Each hit of Viv Visions heavy attack restores one armor up buff while below 16.
1. The base damage output and the armor is one of the lowest in the game.
2. After first consuming all of her armor into solar charges with the first sp2 it is nearly impossible to gain them back again after they are used for the sp1.
Suggestions;To combat base attack rating:
Scale base attack, (M,L,HEAVY) only, opposite of armor. Ex. At her max armor of 16, her base attack is unaffected. Her base attack damage output scales up by, (x) amount, per armor lost in any way for a max of 16. Any amount of armor breaks on Viv Vision counters the equal number she would scale her base attack. (This mechanic would be great for Viv Vision as her base attack would rise significantly while she has 0 armor up buffs, but this would only be temporary as she is constantly regaining armor back). To combat regaining armor, a few options:
When any of Viv visions armor is lost due to converting them into solar charges they are restored one at a time, each taking 5 seconds, otherwise this takes 10 seconds. Each hit that makes contact with the opponent during Viv Visions phasing state, restores one armor up buff while below 16.
Each hit of Viv Visions heavy attack restores one armor up buff while below 16.
Re: How much monetization is too much?
the experience has stayed the same in the sense that every year we get the same dopamine rush chasing rank up or champion materials and every january it resets to a higher rank. The experience hasn't stayed the same. We wouldn't be here if it did. You're using your own personal view as evidence, and that's subjective.Yes, let's take it to a personal level because I don't agree with your point of view. I'm reading every word people are saying. I just don't agree. People don't take responsibility for their own choices enough in my opinion.varied opinions are ok, everyone has them, but objective facts are a thing and the fact is, the spending ceiling has gone up 4-6x in the last say 7-9 years while the experience has basically stayed the same (ranks resetting every year).
why disregard evidence?
purchase limits used to be 1x, now it's 4x, so clearing out july used to cost ~$200 total, now it's $800 or $1200 if you get the relic odins yet the experience hasn't really changed. the game was fun then and it's still fun now but is it 4x-6x as much fun?
if they had a giant whale out every month for a year straight, and we paid 10x-20x what we paid in 2015-2017, is the game 10x-20x more fun? imo no, diluting orange juice into more and more drinks doesn't make each drink taste better or likely increase our sense of fun over a year, we're just paying more.
Re: How much monetization is too much?
I have to say again if someone like SEATIN with more then 300k subs with every video he post getting highest views compared to any other youtuber, Who currently had 40k units in the stash and liked TORCH even as a 5* back in the days says this is BS move by Kabam then i wholeheartedly agree. If he is not even using his units that means it was bad move by Kabam he is ACTUALLY STANDING with the real mcoc community unlike most Youtubers that can't stop themselves licking boots of Kabam. Dissagring with me won't change that his videos PROBABLY changed some real spenders mind as well without a shadow of doubt. Kabam is making a big mistake here they actually need to work on pumping out contents like EPOCH and ORDEAL type Make them harder NOT RESTRICTING then restrictions isn't hard when it all depends on you pulling champ through RNG. EPOCH was the best content Designed in MCOC since probably 7.4 BOSS fights. Kabam does something interesting once in a while. Id say go work on creating EPOCH type content with new bosses and then SELL items once you do completion that's a better strategy and tone down the constant rising monetization cost for god sake.
Re: Dark Phoenix Question
Kabam has so good strategy, they create good trophy champs, sell them, give employees bonus, and employees also spend their bonus to buy trophy champs to test for Kabam's kpi requirements or something ๐

Re: Why is there no blood in Mcoc?
Because superheroes and supervillains never bleed. They just beat each other up until one gives up because itโs dinner time.
Re: Who will counter high evolutionary on the auto block fight on path 3 in war?
You need a champ that has True BS accuracy reduction

Re: How much monetization is too much?
GW has a very valid point regarding the commercial part. They can monetize anything they want, at this point they can even monetize time if they wanted by converting it into a subscription based game. It wouldn't be crazy or the first time a company does this.
I own businesses and I do agree on some of his points. The only part that I don't agree is that they are not a retailer. We already know the product that they sell is not something that we own. They sell a service, a gaming enviroment and "tools" to play the game. The game has just become a constant medium for a sale instead of a game itself. I joked about the live streams being infomercials, well the game itself is now a constant infomercial. We are login in to find out what will be sold next instead of having much to play.
