Featured 5* Crystal - Solo Event points

May not be a bug, may be intentional - but I opened a featured 5* (Aspiring Avenger) crystal during the solo event Cosmic Combat, and did not receive the 3400 points you'd get for opening a 5* Shard crystal. 0 points awarded...not sure about SA points awarded, didn't look at my before and after. Is this the intent? I opened it now to push myself over a milestone (which obviously didn't happen).
