Well, what does it do? Does it give you food, or hit you repeatedly?
That would be your first clue...
Edit: now that I've re-read the description it's clearly buffet (buff-ay) as the node eats your buffs and the opponent gets health out of it.
Definitely NOT the hit repeatedly pronunciation (buffitt).

It is option "A." Buffet, as in eating the buffs!
