My heart is with you and Lil' Steve, Chunkyb. I had to look away from the screen before pressing that button and saying goodbye to Squishy today.
What a terrible thing to do smh. Squishy can come live here. Me, Tony, and Cap will take in strays and show them the love they're lacking😂😂

Unfortunately not
I'm a lot more depressed than I realized I would be. The world seems to have less color today, it's all just kind of washed out. Usually around this time, we'd be eating breakfast and laughing about our misadventures from the night before. Then we'd go explore the world and find some new things for him to experience.
So I guess this is the end of my Lil Steve saga... For now, at least. Maybe he finds his way back one day. He's always welcome at anytime. I'm gonna miss him so much.
And I know that the forums aren't really the place for personal real life stuff... But I have to share this unrelated news. My daughter, Stephanie, is starting a new high school today and I'm so proud of her. She's very nervous, obviously. High school can be very tough, especially for the "new girl". I had to kinda talk her up this morning bc she didn't want to go. I'm sure she's gonna do great.
She's having a little trouble socially. I guess the other girls are a little jealous of her. She's quickly becoming a an athletic star.
Her coach said he's never seen someone able to throw a javelin like that. It's pretty exciting. He did say it took a while to explain that she shouldn't be targeting the other team's players, but once she got the idea... Everything worked out well. I'm sure the girl from the other squad will be ok. It was just a flesh wound. Coulda happened to anyone.
Basketball tryouts are coming up soon. Same time as cheerleading tho. Stephanie is torn on which one she wants to participate in. I told her to just make sure to keep her grades up and do what makes her happy.
The next day, Stephanie's adoption was finalized. Pure coincidence. It would be rude to bring that up around her tho, I think. She's happy and enjoying her school life. That's all anyone needs to know other than there's nothing to see here, kabam. There are some bugs somewhere that need to be fixed. Focus on those pls.

But Stephanie is doing awesome. She's made the basketball team and is leading in scoring, fouls, and punctured basketballs. It's the weirdest thing. But I'm very proud of her.
