In my opinion, I am fighting thru act 5 still and have not tried lol so carnage may be better then venom in that case I would not know.

Venom's damage is actually really great and he has way more utility than carnage, when you get lucky with the buff rotation it's insane, my best run against ROL winter soldier took 174 hits to get him down with my rank 3 5 star
