Oha enervate with gp.. against hyperion.. but still isnt it not preventin from gaining power the same as power lock?

Enervate prevents them gaining power when struck not from power gain

Yep, when Enervate is on a Champ, it prevents them from gaining Power when struck. If you did have a Champion with Power Lock, like you mentioned in your original post, this would prevent the target from gaining more Power from any source. Anything that could remove the Power Gain buff of the Hyperion you mentioned could work as well.
