Can someone explain?

So im in act 5.3.6 got to the iceman fight and ive noticed im getting screwed over by his snap harshley?? In the video u can see that his sig ability it clearly states i should only get inflicted 1740 energy damage over 12 seconds in the fight u can see see i take about if my maths is right give or take 1500 damage blocked hits that added with the 1740 which isnt even all of that because i beat him before cold snap had finished completly i go to the next fight and ive lost 8k health?? Am i being stupid and missing something or is there a serious typo here? I also revived blade to 40% around 8k health didnt take a single hit but died from the coldsnap damage.. @Kabam Miike please look into this cause if im only meant to be getting 1740 damage then why am i taking 7-9k??

The extra node of attack bonuses increase the signature ability

This is the premise of Ice Phoenix pre-nerf. The node increases damage.

I think that particular node is or at least was that “every class except science has -50% attack”
So maybe a high damage science champ to get the job done quicker might be an idea if you don’t have better options
