Alliance War Matchmaking: Request for a more fine-tuned system.

There's been an ongoing issue with our alliance not being able to participate in AW due to poor matchmaking by the game. I understand it's based off of war rating however, as you can see from the above image, that system needs to be fine-tuned to also take into account the alliances' overall rating. These kind of matchups have happened more often than not and it leaves us not only not being able to compete on a fair playing field but also ties up our best champs for use in other areas of the game. We don't expect to win every war but we'd at least like to play without instantly losing all of our attackers within the first couple nodes. PLEASE do something about this system to make matchups more even. Thank you for your time and a great game.

Newest AW match. And the poor matchmaking system strikes again. One of their members has a duped 6* as a defender.

You are running a 1 BG AW. The alliance rating doesn't matter at all. You have similar war ratings and are in the same tier. Alliance rating doesn't mean much at all except its probably some retired players. Many of which may not even be participating in the war. Honestly, you probably have a very fair matchup. There are so many examples of actual bad match ups out there. This isn't one of them.

@Demonzfyre Actually it's far from fair. Their highest player has 853k rating and appears is piloting several accounts with very similar names. Plus they have walked through our defense without so much as a scratch. I noticed a similar setup with multiple accounts with like names in the last war I posted.

That doesnt matter. You are fighting a 1 bg war. Matchmaking doesn't know who is going be in war. Its looking at your war rating first then there are tie breaking criteria. They aren't great given their war rating.

Someone could do a 1 bg war if they have 10 of their own accounts. That's not against ToS.

With those high powered accounts, the war rating most likely means they don't focus on AW much so it stays low. The system still needs fine-tuned to account for the actual alliance rating.

Absolutely not. I understand your frustrations, but including ally rating in matchmaking would not work whatsoever. Do that and you might as well throw the entire war mode out of the window.

Why wouldn't it work? Seems it would create more evenly matched wars. As it stands, my alliance can't do squat in AW bc of these matchups. It's almost penalizing us for having a low member count.
