What happens to Time Attack times (Legend Runs) when interrupted by a service outage?

I just wanted to hear what the official word is from Kabam on Legend run attempts interrupted by an unplanned service outage (i.e. NOT Scheduled Maintenance). Does the Time Attack system account for this?
This happened to me most recently in my Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. Zero run. I have raw footage on my channel documenting the entire ordeal.
