Gold Drops in EQ

Not sure how this applies to other quests but I'm going through this month's EQ and noticed that the gold drops on Heroic difficulty were significantly more than the drops in Master difficulty. I haven't experimented with Uncollected yet but this is a joke right? In what planet do you make less for harder difficulties? I feel like I'm missing something, please prove me wrong.
