VPN usage !

Is that OK to use VPN app along with 3g ?
When i dont have wifi connection or get a bad wifi signal, i turn on my 3g (location: Viet Nam).
However, the wifi at where i live, has blocked the connection from game so that i must use a VPN app to make it possible to access to the game. But that VPN app's location is Singapore !
The question is, is that ok ? Would it cause any issues ? Like game connection from many countries ?
