This can't be correct. AW question

My ally has an AW rating putting us on the line between tier 5 & 6. We have been tier 6 all season for the most part. This last AW we are still showing tier 6 with a 3.4 multiplier. We faced an ally with a similar AW rating but slightly higher than ours putting them in tier 5. I understand this and I am fine with it as our AW rating were within 15 pts of each other. My problem is we had to fight the tier 5 map with the extra minis and increased difficulty of nodes for the tier 6 rewards and multiplier.

Thats the way it works. Maps between tier differences are random. When matched, it randomly picks either tier 5 or tier 6.

So we could have randomly been on tier 6 map instead of tier5? They could could have earned tier 5 rewards for completing tier 6 map. If you are fighting the more difficult map tier 5 you should be rewarded with the tier 5 rewards and multiplier. Same goes for the easier tier 6 map.
