Ægon bug compensation

does the highest difficulty which I failed to complete counts towards the compensation?

What ever difficulty you beat the highest of, you will get the confensation. If you failed, you will not get it. Waiting till the fix and the doing will not get you it.
I defeated master mode Ægon so I will receive the master confensation. If you beat heroic but not master or uncollected, you will receive the heroic confensation.

So what about Beginner or Normal? Do you get compensation then?

Yes, everyone who fought and beat Ægon will receive it. You get the highest completed. You won't get all the previous ones as well, just the highest.
