upgrade 4* or 5* champ?

Either way, this will push them to my top spot.

Should I upgrade my awakened 4* Red Hulk to rank 5 OR upgrade my unawakened 5* Ironman to rank 3?

I don't really care for either option, but the 5* IM would be a mistake. If you ever got a 5* SL and then dupe him then you will wish you had never 3/45 that IM. Red Hulk at 5/50 at least would be a decent defender.

Basic rule: Rank up who's better. Red Hulk is better. Case closed.

Or better yet, save it for someone who's actually good. Those are some pretty poor options, and with the rarity of stuff, I wouldn't invest in them. Unless your resources are expiring; in that case go for it.
