It is hard to recommend any one particular champ for all of Act 5.3 due to the class disadvantage global, but personally I used this as my initial scouting report on Act 5.3: https://www.reddit.com/r/ContestOfChampions/comments/6yy7io/act_53_walkthrough_strategy_guide/

It isn't fully comprehensive and there are other sources of information out there, but this was a good starting point for me.

AA can carry you through a ton of act 5

jusy my opinion, wrecked through act 5 w/ R5 5* hyperion. he was my workshorse. can't go wrong w/ R5 hyp.
