Dr. Voodoo can't chain sp2 from 4-5 hit combo again

I've been fighting in variant quest and hitting MLLLM sp2 or LLLMM sp2 or MLLL sp2 and various cpu champs are recovering and blocking the sp2 of Dr Voodoo. Some examples are: king groot, ultron drones in 2.1 and 2.2, juggernaut, Thor ragnarok, heimdall.

It comes and goes but it's more often again than last update.
