Change of Phone

I'm thinking of changing from Android to Apple, but I'm hesitant because I have my account linked to my google play account. Is there a way to transfer my account?

    From your in game home page, click the gear icon in the top left, select log in options, and link your account to your KABAM account you have for this forum.

    If I didn't previously, wouldnt that act as a new account? I'm not familiar with their login system.
